  A must to visit if in Launceston. Startling, majestic scenery. Nice easy 1km tarmac stroll to the tourist bit (chair lift, cafe etc.), then a good variety of more challenging walks beyond. We did a loop out on the North side, back on the South, via the old power station. This is the right way round to do it, because you go DOWN the 100's of steps to get to the power station. We didn't bother with the chair lift or the cafe.

  Loved this place for the lovely views, nice children's play area, Swimming pool with different depths suited for all ages, stunning views of lush green grassland followed by crystal blue pool followed by natural rock pool. They also have a chair lift ride which is very goes very slowly accross the park giving you time to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Gorge (may be boring for many though). A cafe with breakfast, lunch and snacks option is available. We ordered garlic bread and potato wedges which were decent. Will go here again for: 1. Amazing swimming pool 2. Wonderful views

  What a beautiful place with great views! Place for locals and tourists. At the cafe the breakfast was delicious - tried the smoked salmon eggs benedict. Coffees were nice. Friendly and efficient service. They also have a nice gift shop with plenty of gift choices.
